Dr. Merey is a family physician who specializes also in Bariatrics and Medical Esthetics. She offers all kinds of medical services like physicals, electrocardiograms, complete blood work ups, bio-identical hormone replacement, Pap smears and detoxification. Genetic testing for optimal health and weight loss is available. She accepts five medical insurances: Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna, Medicare, and United Healthcare.

Weight Loss

Dr Merey offers the newest and most effective weight loss techniques for a fast, safe and permanent weight loss.

  • She offers state of the art natural products for cravings and hunger. She divides hunger in 2 parts depending on the location of the hunger. Head hunger and stomach hunger deserve different treatment regimes.
  • Medical appetite suppressants are available and given to patients who have a BMI of 30 or more or a BMI of 27 with other medical conditions. Weekly monitoring of the weight loss is suggested at the beginning of the program.
  • Other natural products are available to increase one’s metabolism, to help with water retention and to enhance weight loss.

  • However even 5% of weight loss is beneficial as many conditions associated with obesity like diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and triglycerides are improved with a modest weight loss.

 

Skin Care:

  • SKIN CARE: We offer 2 neuro-modulators:Botox and Dysport that are used in different parts of the face and neck.
  • ALL FILLERS are also used depending on the indication and depending on the area of the face and the age of the patient. fillers used are: Restylane, Perlane, Juvaderm, and Radiesse, Voluma and Belotero. To prevent pain and bruising a cannula is used.
  • Areas that are injected include the tear trough or area under the eyes, the glabella or area between the eyes, the forehead, the crow’s feet around the eyes, the cheeks, the chin, the marionette lines, the jowls,  the naso-labial folds, the neck and the décolleté
  • A combination of fillers with Botox or Dysport makes the procedure last longer.
  • Several chemicall peels are available as well. The VIP Peel is ideal for photo aged mature skin and also for acne skin in the younger population.
  • Microdermabrasion using diamond tips is available to achieve a smooth face and body.
  • Microneedling using different types of serum or platelet rich plasma (PRP) can be used for rejuvenation of the face and for hair restoration.
  • Many take home products are also available to continue the beneficial effects of the procedure.
  • Microneedling with different sera depending on the skin of the person. It also works for stretch marks.
  • Among procedures we also use Kybella injections to eliminate fat under the chin and in the jowls.
  • We use Mesoderm injections and cream to remove fat in the abdomen, bra fat, thighs and around the lower back.
  • We also have the Vizi-lift a new laser machine that uses lip-cavitation to melt fat and radiofrequency to tighter the loose skin.
  • Polydiozanone Threads (PDO) are used for restoring the V-Shape. Although PDO Threads can be inserted anywhere they are especially effective in the neck and jawline.
